PROMETHEUS Reaction (((NO SPOILERS till June 8)))

[Tom Lowe]

Best science-fiction film since "Blade Runner." It's a wild ride, so buckle up your seatbelt.

I saw it in IMAX 3D. The 3D was perhaps the best I've ever seen, and the Epic performed marvelously!!

[Dominik Muench]

OMG OMG OMG OMG

I cant waiiiiiiiiit for this, they better show this at the IMAX up the road from me or I'm gonna cry.

does it tie in story wise with alien ??

[Sergio Perez]

Wow Tom that's a bold statement! So there's much more beyond the trailer that all are saying "spoils" the movie?

[Stivan Widick]

Just over a week to go....!!!

[Tom Lowe]

Yes, I think it is common knowledge that this movie inhabits the same universe as ALIEN.

Let me say this: I am 10 times more excited about a possible sequel to this film than I was about Prometheus itself. The sequel, if it happens, has the potential to be one of the most amazing sci-fi films ever.

That's ridiculously high praise. I hope it lives up to your hype when I see it.

[Nick Noev]

saw the pre-premiere last night at 10pm. IMAX 3D. i was sweating bullets throughout the whole movie. by the time i was out of the theater, my brain was totally fried.. .. ok no spoilers go see it!

What sci-fi film do YOU think is the best since Blade Runner? There have not been many good ones, so my praise is sort of practical.

I guess films like T2 and Matrix count. Maybe I'm talking more about outer-space sci-fi.

[Matt Ryan]

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? haha jk :emote_22_yikes:

There really havent been any good space sci fi movies in a long time. Does "MOON" count? That was a pretty good recent film, but there havent been many.

I can't wait to see Prometheus!!!

[StevenMore]

I have been waiting for this since the first press release, can't wait to see it this weekend! I was in Cannes and SKY Network was playing "Blade Runner". I had forgotten just how awesome and rich it was.

[Tom Lowe]

I like MOON, but this blows MOON out of the water by a mile.

I guess THE FOUNATAIN is also sci-fi, though I don't really think of it that way.

[Al Lougher]

Last night I spent 3 hours watching Dangerous Days (if you haven't seen it, you need to) so am now pumped to see this stateside. Sounds like IMAX 3D is the only way to see this. Can't wait..

[luigivaltulini]

aaaaa
I can not wait ...

[paulherrin]

I really liked Sunshine.

[Martin Beek]

Going to the premiere in The Netherlands tonight... Exciting!!

[hans de vries]

Blade Runner was excellent, but shouldn't we be mentioning 2001 A Space Odyssey here? Stalker?

[Brandon J.F.]

Just got out of the cinema. Fantastic movie! Will see it again soon.

[Justin Kirchhoff]

How was the sharpness on the IMAX screens?

[Joey R.]

I really liked Sunshine.

X2 on this

[Kenny Mosher]

Can't wait to see this film! I thought the Solaris remake was pretty good...
