Thanks !!!

Maybe too late for this time but maybe for next release you should update the Upgrade sequence pdf and install notes and mention RED Watchdog's write protection again in bold letters as I'm sure we will have dozen of "can't upgrade my EPIC", "Is my SSD / RED Station broken" threads in the next hours...

Are Redmotes currently shipping with version 2.0.2 firmware?

Since 2.02 would be required to work with the current release build I suspect the answer is yes.

Still can't get my Camwaves to work with the 720p signal from the 2.0.5 release. Anyone tried it with a successful outcome?

Thanks Brent.

Already had the BETA installed but reinstalled this just to be sure.

It's nice to see the FW upgrade held my blackshading settings.

Will there be a beta version released alongside this version?

David

Is this release of 2.0.5 firmware the verion that Im told in some circumstances kills the camera when using HDR, 48fps, 5K ? ala Ketch's problem or is this fixed now ?

Does this fix the sound cutting out (green dots turn to red dots) unexpectedly after powering down?

the "contact RED"-scenarios (Redmote & Fan) are a bit discouraging...
sending the camera in is not really an option (here in Europe).
any info what range of serial-numbers went out with an "old" fan? (EPIC-X in our case)

I think we'll stay with 1.7.10 until more info and user-reports are available...

You can always roll back to 1.7.10 even after installing 2.0.5

100% WRONG!

Read the release notes.

IMPORTANT:

* You will not be able to roll back to earlier firmware revisions than v2.0.2 after installing v2.0.5
* REDMote firmware v2.x if required to be functional. Refer to the Ops Guide for upgrade instructions.

ALSO: There is currently no manual available with 2.02 and it does not seem to be downloadable on RED.com. Does 2.02 have TimeLapse functionality?

BS took 25 minutes as usual.
I never had a blue timecode, just read that some users have experienced that problem (camera could not boot or record). After upgrading to 205, I saw blue timecode for a first time and honestly freaked out. But the reboot helped. E-mailed to RED, hope they will clarify why and what exactly blue timecode is.

I am not wrong; the release notes are incomplete.
