I still need to install my snorkel

Nice rig, and lover the color.

If you are installing a snorkel then it's also not all show, no go... sweet.

...what do you mean?

who would buy a jeep for show, if your not going off road there is no point. getting 15mpg around the town is a waste..

Who?

The thousands I see on the street that I'm pretty darn sure never see much more than a gravel road.

I've always liked this photo, end of the ski season so no snow down at the carparks (but plenty of lovliness from the 2nd chair up...)

BTW: I dropped Ted to the Airport in this car one day - small claim to fame (rolls eyes...)

This is by far the most pimpin'est car on this thread so far...

Hardly. Nothin' tops the yellow '77 Caddy with yellow mo-fo leather interior and matching shag carpet.

LMAO. Why not just bring a tent? I hope you don't snore in that sucker, or your wife will be hating life! ;)

Lol, Jeff, I like it! One great thing about an old, long-wheel-base car like that is that it probably rides real smooth, which can be nice for shooting footage from. One time I was working with a DP friend and we were talking about good vehicles to shoot from on roads. The best thing we could think of was an old limo with a moonroof. Smooth! I think you should modify that baby into a camera car. hahaha.

Sorry, a bit offtopic.. But Tom, what ink is that on your back? It looks like an upside down M-16 but it also looks like Arabic script..

Next thread suggestion..Post your tats?

Yeah, I wouldn't want to sleep in that thing... Looks like it would get hot and the echo would wake me up every time I snore or fart.

Hehe... Never tried shooting anything from it. Actually, don't own it anymore. Truthfully, only drove it a few times. It was a real head-turner! It was one of my grandfather's cars -- my brother and I pulled it out of storage and cleaned it up, got it running (to sell it). We took it down the street to the self serve car wash and then grabbed some burgers. Good for a laugh. My brother had said all his life that he was going to keep the car for himself, but when the time came he wouldn't do it. He always had an attachment to it -- it was the first car he ever rode in, as a newborn coming home from the hospital.

Pushin' AKS!
