We have a Panasonic HVX 200 camera for sale with (2) 16GB P2 cards and a Duel Adapter. I will get pics up. Camera has EXTREMELY LOW hours, my guess is 30 hours, but I will check it for an accurate number

Retail on the camera, cards and adapter NEW is $7,125.

I will accept $6,000.

PM with email address for pics or more info. Feel free to check out our website at www.h2ophotopros.com

Hey not to crap on your thread, but the hvx now comes with a free 16gig card ....might want to reconsider your price accordingly.
Good luck with your sale
Cheers

Evolve... How much you gonna pay for a hvx200? 3000$? If you want you can invite me to a beer and I''ll give u my hvx200 for free. In Europe a HVX 200 (new) is about 6350 $ without any P2 cards, and this is a good price.
What would you pay for a Second hand Red camera? 7000$? Don't confuse it, it is not a cd player....

after NAB a hvx will be possibly worth a lot less then 4k.

hvx reaches End of Life end of the year imo

Nice first post. Hello is usually what I say when walking into a new house for the first time. Regardless, anytime you're in Toronto I'm happy to buy you a beer. For the record, you can buy a used HVX for 3600 on dvxuser, so don't get too prissy on me just yet, sunshine.
Most of the people reading Reduser are North American, and they don't give a rat's ass what the camera sells for in europe.
I actually just sold an hvx, one of the reasons being what K.Berlin stated, so thanks, I'm not confused as to whether it shoots footage or plays cds.

Hey guys, sorry I was shoppin at B&H's site, using their figures on what they were selling the system for new and used. Didnt realize they were now including the 16gb.

Anyhow, I would be willing to accept $5,000 for the camera and cards. I need to sell it for Scarlett and for an EX1

Its NTSC

Mike,
Also hate to rain on your thread, but I just sold (on DVX User) my HVX 200 along with Gates housing with every option, also the SWP 44; and an extra battery charger and 3 extra batteries; (2) 8 gig cards and one 16gig card; the gates citidisk holder and case---All in mint condition with 75 or so hours on it....All for $10,500

In fact i had a second hvx 200 that i sold for $3,300. So there's what the market seems to be.

Oh...I was so glad to get rid of my hvx's

Also got a cannon XLH1 and Gates housing with SWP 44 for sale with pelican case and some extras all for $7,000. I think the whole kit must have less than 20 hours.....we used on one shoot.

I sold a PAL HVX with cards, firestore 100 and a bebox for about 5000$ in april. Was hard enough to find a byer at that price :)

The HVX is a nice cam and the prices are getting so low that it is about time to consider to keep it...

My HVX have bee arround the word many times and survived all from angry Russian bear attack, falling out of helikopter, -40C below shooting to the burning heat of Africa and worked 100% of time. Never as much as a droped frame, all shooting HD720 on P2cards and on site downloading to 160GB firewire drives on battery. Run many hundreds of houres but newer selling my dear old friend, just using my red when I get it :)

One of the Russian shoot here:

Keep your HVXs. I'm keeping mine. Even when my RED comes (any day now) I will still find a use for a camera that I can pack the whole kit into one small bag.

And when someone says "can you lend me a camera", do you think I'm going to part with RED?

For what they are worth today I'd say keep as a second backup. When not compared to Red they're great little cams.

John
