Hello guys,
I'm having issue with the console tool and REDundead.
here is a copy of my terminal tool
What I did write (rdisk7 is my red mag with the corrupt file/RECOVER is the path I created to put the recovered files in)
sudo redundead /rdisk7/Users/my name/Desktop/RECOVER

What the console answer
ed
Incorrect number of arguments.
REDundead v2.0:

REDundead <input device> <output dir>
or
REDundead <input device> <output dir> <start MB>

Example: REDundead /dev/rdisk9 /Volumes/newdisk

WARNING: Make sure your Output Dir is not on the same device as Input Device!!!!

It is the first time in 7 years in the Red eco systeme I have to use REDundead, and I have no clue about what I'm doing wrong here.
Fuck I hate using the terminal tool.
Any tips would be much apreciated.
Thanks fellow Red User.

Looks like you need a space after the disk and before your recovery destination

Also might need to add /dev just before /rdisk7 without any space...

sudo REDundead /dev/rdisk7 /Users/username/Desktop/RECOVER
or
sudo REDundead /dev/rdisk7 ~/Desktop/RECOVER

In my latest tests REDundead failled to work on anything newer than OS X 10.7...

Thanks a million Mikael!
Indeed the missing blank and /dev/ were the causes.
The systeme is a 10.8 and by watching the terminal it seems runing for now.
I'll give a try on a 10.7.5 drive if it faile.
I own you a beer in Paris, cheers man.
