  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

PLAYBACK

This might have to be known as the TOIA build.

Though I never doubted RED I'm sure the constant irritation added some fuel to delivering this long awaited feature.

Great job RED team.

You've taken care of the family again.
What can we do for you guys?

I'll start with thank you, but it doesn't seem like enough. If you all weren't so committed to the work and dedicated to bringing us great cameras with great features, we wouldn't be the benefactors of great technology.

Always late...(maybe)
Committed to customers (always)
Performing beyond expectations (riding with RED we are spending a lot of time looking in the rear view mirror, watching the distance between us and the "others" widen)

Thanks RED.

David

"Paging Mark Toia..." :D

... We keep needing to buy more bookshelves for our code library.

He he, some how this comes to mind... ;)

I'm shooting on Monday and have my camera with me, but my SSD reader is with production and I have no way of getting it before the shoot. Oh well. I've waited this long, what's another 3 or 4 days?
Can anyone tell me if any other flavors of 2K have been added? I'd love to see 2K 16x9...

just installed, in one word: WOW! this is sweet, loop functions, i/o function, different speeds. This is not just simple playback, this video assist functionality playback, good work!!

YEAHHHHHH THANKS RED TEAM..... superb playback;)
THIS IS A EPIC MOMENT ;)
:party::thumbup:

Anyone else seeing battery voltage as 0% on the Alpha build? Tried both RED Bricks and 3d Party on an ET/IDX plate with the little switch on both settings.

Only when I use the Backpack Quickplate. The battery belt clip shows Brick % and the VF / Brook APU shows DC Voltage. Build 1.7.9 would not boot from the Quickplate, for me, so they are making progress.

OMFG... The implementation is awesome!!!!!
trim/ loop playback, x1, x2, x3,x16, etc playback speed, trimmed and looped.
Working flawlessly.
quick selecetion of takes.

Bye Bye Ki Pro Mini and PIX 240...
Goodbye Laptop for slo-mo playback.

My little camera just grew up.

Come on Jarred, I was having a bad day and I apologised...

Playback is a major factor for the way I work... Sorry to be so annoying. But Hey! we all finally all got here with a few bumps and bruises.. :)))
