I'm really liking my new Tokina, haven't had much time to play with it just yet. I agree with Meryem that the aperture ring is a bit close to the mount, but what do we do, it's just the way it is.
I do have one question for those of you with the lens. The zoom ring on mine is a bit gritty in operation. It seems to function properly, it's just "gritty" and does not have uniform resistance across the zoom range. Even makes a slightly audible abrasive noise on occasion. Is this to be expected? Or is this something that needs to be looked at?
