  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ok, please explain more. At 11mm with two stages on the MB-20 you don't get any vignetting? Can you please tell me if you can use it with a 4 x 5.65 on the furthest stage? Or with a 5.65 x 5.65? And if you have a third stage, please test it on that one, on the furthest from the lens, just let us know which you tested for.
 
How long until the second batch is ready? :biggrin:

You are more than welcome to answer questions from members on this forum. Just as has always been the case with dvxuser, reduser, scarletuser.

Representatives of companies, etc are more than welcome to participate on this forum as regular members, and to answer standard questions about their products, provide tech support, etc.

What you CAN NOT do is make press release type postings, engage in selling on the boards, etc.

It's a pretty fair policy for all involved from our perspective and has worked well for all parties involved for the last 7 years.

So, just to be clear... If someone drops into a thread and asks a question about your product specifically, than you (general "you") are more than welcome to answer those questions.

If however, someone is asking about xyz lenses (to keep it in context) and you (again, general "you") come into the thread and drop an ad for your own product (abc lenses), well that would be the point that one has crossed the line. or, if you start your own thread promoting your company/product/services, etc.

Yes, I have a 2 stage with 4x5.65 trays in it and in this case I had a 138mm pola, and a 77m screw in N9 and I saw no vignetting.

Ok, thanks. Do you have a grad? I would love to see if you think there is enough room for adjustment on the furthest stage at ~12.5mm if you felt like fiddling with it.

I don't know, actually I'm a bit confused. I had my money in and order confirmed by Michelle within three hours of the pre-order announcement. I recall it was several days after that when Matthew posted that the first batch was closed. So I thought I was in the first round. I received the email saying the lens would ship soon and to respond back in regards
to the case, mattebox and filter... I've heard nothing since...

You are definitely in the first batch. If you put down a deposit, you secured your position in the first batch.
Jeff, I believe your lens was completed about 4 hours ago. :)

Cool. :) I was kinda figuring you guys were just still working through the first batch, even though you were talking about the second batch.
 
Can I get the same info as Jeff? - I sent a PM and email to Michelle asking for an update but figured it wouldn't get a response until Monday. But as long as Matthew is lurking about here, can I get an update?

I sent in my request before Jeff, it sounds like, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

I might need to send on new CC info because the one with the original deposit was defrauded unfortunately - and I'd like to get that settled, if necessary....too many snakes and gollums out there with nothing better to do with their sorry lives...
