  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Picture of a Weapon

The pyro in me is loving his fiery concoction. LOL about the comment on FB about it being close to mercury cyanide. Well, at least he didn't breathe in too deeply and lived to post it. ;)

Ha ha. I like how the video is tagged for "Mature" audience.

Cleaned up the thread a bit.. went way off topic.

Instead of having a heated Chevy vs. Ford fist fight lets just start stuff on fire to get the anger out.. Worked for me.

To quote Napoleon: "The fire is everything, the rest is nothing." ... which leads me to "humbly" ask Mr Chief to spill the beans! :)

Edit: That should fit well into Jim's "we are at war" phraseology.

Has no one commented that the mount, because you can see light underneath it, might actually be recessed into the dragon body? Maybe that was done for effect to get the smoke coming out from under it, but if it's not then it's a recessed mount.

The plot thickens.

I guess the outer circumference of this new mount is ~50% greater than the existing TI PL mount.

[based on there being (new) 12 raised bumps in the patterning vs 8 (old) on the outer collar]

Errrrrr .... 9k?

Wow. 50%? I don't see that. My collar has 10 "bumps" and if I hold it up against the video I can see the same scale. It looks like it's the same size plate and mounting points.

Don't think I got an answer to my question when I asked if it's possible to do a camera with a 65mm AND a 35mm mode.
If you could have a 8-12K sensor at 65mm and then crop to get 6K 35mm you should technically be able to change the mount to either do 65mm or 35mm footage.

Please tell me I got this right! (free Red Weapon upgrade for me!! :w00t: )

It wouldn't be any different to how we have windowed sensor sizes now. So that seems very probable...
