Hello Dan,

Could you put the size in cm and weight in gramm of your product?
Does it also transmit TC and/or Sound?
Could it trigger a Pix220?

Thanks.

Patrick

Hi Dan

Does adding transceivers slow down the latency? Say having 4 transceivers going to 4 different monitors (client 24", director 17", Focus 7" and Steadicam 6")

Can 2 transmitters be used in the same area?
You mentioned it's 5v DC, how many Amps does it draw?
+1 for group buy!

Looks really cool, what was the setup in the video? Hand help rig, monitor ?

The encryption is nice.

really need a affordable setup that meets all the everyday needs.

That being said, I'd buy an HD-SDI version for $1000 more. This is a really attractive product, but HDMI kills it for me :(

Saw this at Cine Gear today... nice solution. Yeah its HDMI only, but there are some pretty decent solutions for converting SDI to HDMI these days. Once the Epic and Scarlet can do both HDMI and SDI at the same time this will be a very attractive and affordable solution. The latency is not an issue and almost unnoticeable. The unit itself is tiny and comes with a D-tap power cable for the transmitter. They were using a USB battery pack to power the receiver, but I imagine a D-tap solution would be possible on that end as well. Overall, I was impressed with this wireless system. The cabling was still sort of messy and HDMI connections are always a pain, but I think these guys are on to something for sure. If I was buying right now, I'd buy this system over everything else out there. Once Red's wireless system is out it might not be such an easy decision, but for those on a budget or someone who needs it now, the Paralinx Arrow is a no brainer.

BTW, you can only use one receiver with each transmitter because of encryption.

Could the encryption be turned off allowing more than one receiver? Has Red actually promised that HDMI and SDI simultaneous output will be eventually enabled?

Thats a real shame and limits its use for me so its not as attractive anymore.

Any chance this might change with allowing multiple receivers to pickup the transmitting signal?
Having only one monitor pickup the signal is very limiting.

Not sure about the encryption, but I'm sure Dan could answer that one.

Red said it would have both enabled simultaneously, I just don't remember where I read it. They said its coming...

Again, Dan will be able to answer this when he gets back from Cine Gear, but I believe they mentioned this being a possibility, so don't give up just yet :)
