The other day I went with my buddy golfing and rather than lugging around our clubs, we challenged ourselves to just pick three clubs for the course...made for an interesting day.

This got me thinking...what if we only and just only could do a shoot with three primes? Regardless of the brand...what would be your top three primes to shoot with?

25, 35, 50. I don't really need anything else.

On Super 35 I have two "top three" mindsets, just depends if I'm feeling more natural or a bit more wider and tighter.

-21, 32, and 50
-16, 32, and 75

Oops...forgot my choice....20mm, 35mm and 85mm...would be hard to walk away from the 50mm though.

25, 50,100
cheers

Depends...

On a s35(1.6x) system like Red MX, I'd pick 18, 35, 85. But with Epic's new wider FOV (1.3x) I find myself liking 25mm, 50mm, 85mm.

For me this question is more than just a game. I own the full 6 RPP set and a big case, but often to limit weight I have a small Pelican that can hold 3 primes, so often I find myself picking 3 of the 6 for a day's shoot :-)

Lee Trevino, when he was a kid hustling used to beat players using only one club, he would challenge them and say, "I'll just play the entire round with a 4 iron". He could shoot Par using just a 4 iron for every shot. When he first won the US Open he was asked how he managed the pressure over the last putt. He said, "That's no pressure, pressure is when you're Sixteen years old playing a Texas Millionaire for One Hundred dollars and you've got no money in your pocket". I am going to shoot a feature with the Epic using only the 25mm RPP.
