I've had mine for a while now. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made for the RED kit. Takes just a few seconds to check collimation and only a few seconds more if an adjustment is needed.

Andy, mine is the shaved down version...which was a really snug fit in my Epic-X.
I have not yet tried it on the Dragon upgrade yet...I am somewhat reluctant to try it before I hear from others who have![]()
Do you have any filters on or a Motion Mont.? Sometimes just a UV filter can effect things a bit. And are the lenses metric or imperial?
I just got a Red Null because I had a similar problem that some of my lenses didn't reach infinity. If you are using a RED Focus I'd figure you'd be spot on. How far off infinity are they? A lot or just a half mil or less.
ps for me this was a non modified Red Null on a dragon. Don't know if it fits the Epic x with out the modification to the Null lens or not
good luck.
Russ, you are correct....if you mount the modified RedNull 90 degrees the WRONG WAY, it will hit the rectangular frame of the OLPH filter. As it is, even mounted correctly, I occasionally scrapped the edges of the frame...nothing that would anything to the camera or image, just something to be careful of.
No, it should be fine with Dragon, it's the Epic/Scarlet-X which is an issue. So, it seems that the 'modified' null, if mounted the wrong way, scrapes/catches on the Dragon....What about the 'original/un-modified' null - if that's mounted the 'wrong' way, what happens then?
