  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Now it begins. Red BT shipping

ordered on 11-04-12 but was told couople of weeks more. there is an epidemic preorder time promise failure when the selling rush comes. I hope turkey'll help them))
 
got it yesterday at 1pm and have been tinkering with it ever since. also working up the courage to install the Allstar A-mount :)
 
Anybody from Europe received their shipping information? I placed my order the day after the news went live.
 
I ordered mine around 12AM 11/2/12 but I still haven't received a delivery confirmation notice or anything like that.

I guess it will still be a while.
 
Lets not forget that thanksgiving holiday started on the 22nd. (For those outside of the us)
 
Jacek said he is out of town at moment. Hopefully when he gets back he will start shipping..
 
Ordered mine 11/7, if the processing time is 2-3 weeks after the order, so I hope to receive it by the end of the week since there are some folks with their cameras now...
 
When did you receive a notification that it had been shipped? Also, which shipping method did you have?

My biz partner ordered ours right around the same time; Hoping I get it by the middle of next week as I have projects that want to start using it...

EDIT: Just checked, also ordered on the 7th.

I hope to receive it by friday so we can run some tests before it travels for a job scheduled... Fingers crossed
 
Friday seems a little soon. It's been over 3 weeks for me and it hasn't shipped yet. Haven't even been billed.
 
Was just told my camera has now been allocated. I ordered 11/3. I think they just started 11/2+ orders today. I think the orders will progress quicker now since I suspect most orders came in on 11/1.

EDIT: This was just a confirmation of allocation of my order. Not shipping confirmation.
 
Just got an email from my rep at RED, I ordered on 11-14 and he said that while he couldn't promise the 3 week time of Dec. 6th delivery he did say today that they have ramped up their shipping there at RED in IRVINE where all the cameras are coming from. They came back to RED headquarters and hit the ground running. I'm sure they are on it!!!

Yep.. I was billed last week before thanksgiving so with a little luck I'll have the camera for testing on the weekend.
 
Ordered on the 2nd almost first thing. Super excited! Getting emails from anyone but RED is pure torture right now.
