I don't think so, 3-chip 2/3" cams will have a much deeper back-focus to accommodate the prism block.

Mini primes are compatible with 2/3" B4 cameras, right ?
So May-June for the 2/3" Scarlet, will that most likely mean closer to June? The only reason why I ask is I have a time sensitive project that will begin in May and I would prefer to use the Scarlet, but if that's not possible I may go 7D.
That was great! Nice to see it actually being waved around. As much as I love the stylized renders and photos, this makes it feel so much more real...
They weren't kidding about the "mini" part of the Mini Primes :thumbup1:

Looks like Ted's a popular guy over at CES this year

Man, the best part was: "It's so hot!" This is looking very good. It's coming closer you guys!
I know this is technically speculative. But I really want to get a Red soon, and I have the money. But getting the Scarlet has so many advantages for me.
Anyway, my question is:
Since the brains are supposed to be interchangeable, if I get a 2/3" 3K Scarlet now, should I be able to upgrade it to the 5K version later? I had always assumed this was the case, but in the video he says that the 5K version will have a slightly larger body. Honestly, I'm not even sure why I'm asking this since it's all speculative, but I figured I get some thoughts from you guys.
Yes, by "now" I mean upon its hopeful 4-6 month release. Maybe I misread (or likely mis-told by someone), but it was under my understanding that they were making so that the chips were interchangeable. Meaning I could keep the actual brain body, but change the chip for higher resolution, or lower res for higher frame rates.
Please set me straight. Thanks for the response.
