  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'm getting an M too. Just waiting on my FedEx tracking number. But there is no way I am not going to take delivery of my Stage 2. I won't be selling my Stage 2 #561 either. Although I do have a second Stage 2 on order that I already sold.

The reason we decided to move to all EPIC M camera packages is because it makes sense to us, if at one point RED was to stop making them,
then and only then we would have no choice but to purchase the Production model, till then all "M" it is... ;)

No one in their right mind would ask for their original 5k deposit back from RED, but instead we have already,
and continue to offer our Brokering services, to sale Stage II packages via our Lease Option deal,
assisting owners in financing their EPIC M purchase, while making other new REDusers to be, very happy... ;)

I guess I didn't factor in the deposit to my imagined scenario... Oh well. In any case I'm glad RED is able to make M's at such a high rate, it gives me hope they are starting to put their manufacturing issues behind them.
 
Super stoked! My Fedex Tracking number is showing my Epic-M will arrive tomorrow!

If number 442 stage 2 is delivered it does not mean they are 442 cams out there. But I neither count

Yes it does mean exactly that, as this has nothing to do with stage II, this is stage "M".
 
My EPIC-M arrived today. What I find most interesting is that no one, including myself, posted about receiving "the" email. I received "the" email on Friday and I kept checking REDUser to see if anyone else did. I got a little nervous when I saw the post about Cameron ordering 50.

Yeah, I mentioned that I got notice on this thread a ways back. And I think I'm the first one that ever mentioned that. It's not as cool as just showing up in the M Owners Forum with a picture of you and your new toy.... Now I have seen several M owners mention getting notice on twitter or in other venues. That's cool that you got notice last friday and already have the camera! I got notice monday evening, I'm hoping to pay up early next week. Gotta do some financial shuffling, but it's all good.

Congrats, man! What number is your M, if you don't mind me asking? I wouldn't be surprised if I get one over 500.

Yeah, I think the current email is a post-NAB thing... Seeing how they made everyone re-apply via the store.
 
Dude. Take a picture of yourself in the bathroom mirror with the shitter behind you. Epic-M covering your face and the other hand holding a card with your contact info. You could be the craigslist hooker of the Epic world.

Indeed! We should have the first 2 -M cams in the state and will be having some good geeky fun configuring them for 3D - there's not a lot of that type of production taking place in our state, yet, but let's see if we can change that....

Those -M cams seem to be moving pretty fast now - I chatted with Brent at NAB about their move to the new -M production facility and it sounds as if all of their hard work to get the line running is starting to pay off....

Well, I do need to whore my camera out on rentals real quick. I had just bought a new MacBook Pro a week ago. But now my bank is empty and my Amex bill is due in a few weeks. Got no other choice I just tell myself.

I hear you loud and clear... you're not the only one feeling the pinch here. Between a business deal that went sour for me just last week and it being tax month, it figures my M would come up. hehe...
