Nikon Mount + Dragon...any issues?

Is anyone using a RED Nikon mount with the Dragon? Any issues? I know that there was light leak issue in the past with the Nikon mount, has that been addressed....especially with all of the OLPF stuff?

I had a Opitek mount on my scarlet, which I loved, but it doesn't fit on the Dragon with the fan upgrade.

been using the Nikon mount on Dragon since January - works great. ..but I do use mostly very old manual lenses (ie circa 1960-late 70's).

You can modify the optitek yourself to fit with the new fans. Simple procedure.

This doesn't answer you question but I use the Optitek mount on my Dragon. Just took a dremel to the gear and removed the teeth that hit the fan. If you don't feel comfortable doing this I know that Gates Underwater Housings has modified the mount for others, maybe they could do it for you as well.

That ring with the teeth can actually just slip off.

We can remove the gear for free or machine the teeth on the bottom off so you still have motor hookup when you need it...

Yes you can
REmove the 4 screws that hold the top part and lift it off (you can access the screws through the holes in the black locking ring that the two pronged red lever is bolted to)
Take off the iris scale.
Heat up the gear with a heat gun and slip it of once the loctite is smoked.
Replace the top with the 4 screws
