Downloaded new build, 64 &32 bit for Windows 7 Pro. It does not see the rocket card. Put build 252 back, and all is well. What gives?
Which rocket driver version are you using?

That would really be awesome:
1- edit an off-line (in FCP, Avid, Premiere or whatever)
2- import to RedCine-X (through EDL or XML, when they get this last one working)
3- do some CC aproximation (first light)
4- export trimmed .R3D
5- export a timeline (EDL or XML) keeping the metadata (RMD) and linked to the trimmed .R3D
6- open the project in a CC suite linked to the trimmed .R3D (easier to move around facilities) and keeping the CC done in RedCine-X and the full access to our digital negative RAW
That would be a cool, non destructive workflow, don't you think, people?
Any suggestions on how to improve on these preliminary ideas?
Cheers!

I just did that for the Mac64 and it worked just fine now.

When I push the video out button in ver 361 i dont get the box to choose the signal. It activates always 1080p23.98 rgb
Can you send the crash reports plus the log file directory to redcinex at red. Thanks.
PCIe Expander... Only way.
Hope that the next round of Macs, based on the Intel Sandy Bridge platform, will provide more slots since the host chipset will over many more PCIe lanes... Hoping...
Paul,
Did it come with the Redline installer? Where did you go to download it? I used Jim's link (post #1) but still does not have the installer, so I think this is what is crashing RCX.
But you lose bandwidth and create bottlenecks I suppose? Which one do you use?
Yep this has always been the dream/Feature Request since even before REDCine was even announced. Sounds though like The Foundry's Storm will finally do just this.
Edit.
Open in Storm.
Do quick one light Metadata corrections.
Export trimmed (with handles) r3d files.
Re-Open/link to DPX/TIFF/EXR in editorial with VFX/Final Grade.
Render.
