I can confirm from several reports that All Sigma 18-35 f1.8 focus in Cine (aka Canon) direction.
Can't speak for all other Sigma lenses.
Thanks Dan

Wouldn't bet on it. Last news on SIGMA IS on RED was, that it doesn't work for the 120-300.Question for other Sigma's like the new 24-105 : Will the IS work on Epic ? Last time I tested the answer was no.
The 120-300 and 300-800 also focus in the regular/cine/canon direction on their F-mount versions. I think it's pretty universal with them, especially now that they're offering a mount-changing service for their newest lenses.I can confirm from several reports that All Sigma 18-35 f1.8 focus in Cine (aka Canon) direction.

Does the front extend at all while zooming/focusing on the 18-35?
No it doesn't. This lens works really well with the O focus "photo" version to give it longer throw; it has soft stops at each end of the focus range that are "harder" than most Canon lenses. You can still push past them but they're much more noticeable. Awesome lens.
At least my lens seems to hold focus when zooming in/out. Could be a backfocus issue on the test that showed it doesn't?Hello,
Is this lens parfocal?
I've seen 2 tests, one showing it's parfocal and the other showing the contrary...

PS: Thanks Dan!
How much is that going to cost, if you don't mind me asking?
Wow, that's about 1/2 or >1/2 the price of the lens itself.
