We are looking for music and Mysterium X image submissions to be considered for inclusion in the next iteration of the RED Reel. Please ensure that all submissions are cleared for use at various RED presentations as well as online distribution. We will not be scoring any original music to the reel, but we are interested in copyright-free music to be submitted so we can distribute this reel online to the community.
Audio submissions can be uploaded to the below WEB FTP link, picture submissions should be submitted to the below address. All images must come from Mysterium X sensors and must be submitted as R3Ds for exhibition in 4K. Please include specific notes on any submissions as well as contact info and crediting information.

Looking forward to submitting footage. when is the submission deadline? we're gonna have some new killer footage end of July.
Last shots we submitted were the Selma Blair/Elijah Wood shots and we were pleased to see them make the reel.

Hey Jim, can you loan me an R1-X (or one of those epics) for our tiger shark shoot next week in the Bahamas?

We're shooting R1 but an X would be great and almost guaranteed some cool footage of "Emma" (photo of Emma courtesy George Schellenger) for the reel!

Promise we'll keep it dry:-)

It would be nice to know in advance what feel you're aiming for with the reel, in order to get some music to you that will complement the images. Or is that too hard to predict up front, when you don't have most of the images yet?

Jason

Those shots did look pretty kickass in 4K.

JIm, what is the deadline for submission? I might send some files and Music as well.

Ditto to this question. I dont have anything right now, but will sometime in the next month.

Jim, did you mean royalty free? I could see where someone would have composed music, and holds the copyright to it, but allows it to be used with a synchronization license with the RED Reel, but only with that specific media, and without payment or royalties.

• Sync Rights would be perfect, since Royalty Free music tends to not do justice to the images RED delivers in 4K.

• Type of must is somewhat arbitrary. It changes a bit from reel-to-reel. I probably audition 50 songs when I'm looking to for stuff to cut to in these reels, so the more submissions, the more options we have to explore a direction-which largely depends on the types of images are delivered

• Deadline for submissions is July 12th.

I have 80 minutes of original instrumental music you can take a listen to if you tell me what format you want it in (aif/wav/flac 16/32bit etc) and how you'd like it sent.

edit, I missed the ftp bit. sending..

I will shoot at night and day some of my favorite Viennese locations and offer that for free as my MX reel contribution.

They would be the last shots with my RED1MX.

Just couple of days before I have to sent my RED to the new owner.

Just posted several of my original instrumental songs. If you would be interested in using them, please feel free. They are mostly electronic, ambient, and atmospheric and in the .mp3 format. I also have the .wav versions if necessary. Enjoy.

How is it possible you will be without a RED camera Sanjin?
