  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New project...

Given the RED playback, suggesting it may be a substantial sized ecosystem built around the hero product. The $99 product with the $XXXX accessory kit & kaboodle or more. Eyewear, set top box, media player/converter, cables, charger etc.

Boom! Glad you're back Jim! Looking forward to see the infos coming. Can't be anything else then spectacular, with you and Jarred teaming up.

Subscribed and mobile notifications turned on, don't want to miss anything. :)

I'm suspicious that companies are hijacking all the inventions from the Back To Future movies. The empirical evidence would be the flying car.

As long as people insist on driving, that will never happen. They can't handle two dimensions, adding a third without fully autonomous piloting would be nothing but a disaster.

So let's get autonomous cars working first!

:)

Will this be a new product sector or a better mousetrap of an existing product? Will somebody get their lunch eaten? Who missed the opportunity?

Actually, a bit surprised a the use personal use of social media. I had taken Jim to be a bit careful of his privacy.

Jim implicated Jarred as being complicit in this matter. So perhaps, between the two, some beans may get spilled early.

Someone will get their lunch eaten. :-)

It's a Jump To Conclusions mat.

Exciting... good luck with whatever this is (not that you guys need any luck). I am fully interested without knowing what it may be.

:willy_nilly:

You've already taken a bite out of (any legacy camera company name here)... so it must be a new milieu.

Well, the wall to scale is the Oculus Rift vested by team FaceBook. Although promising, it feels like an immature product from a consumer point of view. Computing resource heavy, which limits its practical applications in consumer markets. It has a high novelty shock impact, to its credit, but the consumer implementation still seems clumsy and immature.

Jim may have indeed cracked the code by creating a VR technical marvel ie. gentler, ascetically pleasing, portable, transparent, and sustainable in the common retail, entertainment, and fun markets. I would hope the early applications are authored really well and the eyewear doesn't resemble work goggles.
