  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New project...

This is getting fun. I'm assuming if he isn't supposed to be talking that the mods would have removed all this by now and gotten rid of the account. What's with all the cloak & dagger?

Seriously, people think this great, but I'm too abstract :)

Art, are you meant to be here?

Its an archivalist history server, like Wikipedia, but one you can submit documentaries into. Ohh my brain is slow lately. I wanted to pitch something similar to uncle Rupert about news.

Yes, now we have software that can put footage from different people at events in 3D space (something O was probably contemplating for something decades ago). But you can use Redray to save some space in such a system, and get the government to sponsor it for their own purposes.

Guys.. looks like someone forgot to take their meds and is trying to screw with you all.

I know who Art is and he definitely has nothing to do with anything and he does not belong here...

So move along... nothing to see here.

Happy New Year!

:) I thought it was too strange to be true. I was just going to suggest this is not the place if he has some grevience. Pity, the fake time machine idea, space, electronics thing fitted the archival idea.

Back to ground zero, waiting for the bomb.

Heh heh.. Well hope that guy does learn how to build a time machine so he can go back and find the exact moment the cuckoo bird in his back yard stole his sanity.

Truth stranger than fiction? http://www.humancar.com I can just bookend that - the HC is a bidirectional team and power interface with built in UPS that I personally charge my red bricks on in remote locations quite a bit of interesting dialogue here in this thread - relevant as Tim draper who called it America's has insurance policy" just example of an engineer who was a titan rocket specialist and converted the engineering expertise into something that creates power and healthy people at the same time. The monocoque chassis and actually the transaxle that was machined on our 3-D mill is not dissimilar then many of my own RED parts

Thanks for that Justin.

Ha, ha, don't know if that is going to pass workplace health and safety with.those blades and scarfs, clothing, long hair, straps. They should have put them above the cabin.

Jim, I hope you will give us a few days warning before the BIG REVEAL.

I'm not spending as much time on REDuser due to other interests, but I do check my email which shows new posts. I really don't want to miss out.

I'm hoping its a QIS or some kind of new sensor tech. QIS fits the bill so far. Also, a sensor built on this tech is perfection for a phone camera. High quality, low noise levels and small sensor size. This may play into the phone patent people keep linking to... The sensitivity and dynamic range of these new sensors would be so far beyond CMOS tech. It truly would be a game changer like Jarred keeps saying.

The digital film sensor I've been taking about. There arena few other pixel counting technologies used in astro photography, even with low noise.

But normally there is a flood of photons so I wonder how accurate it gets (accuracy beyond whatever bit depth we are using is good). If they keep testing the binary pixel to.a counter they can get large HDR. But it seems they are dealing with noise, so I imagine this would increase noise a lot.
