this will give you an idea. =)

what are all the parts required for the gunner?

can they put the complete package in the store?

That is the beauty of the DSMC accessory line. Not a lot is "required". It is up to you what you want to do for your own unique configurations. Possibilities are endless, so we could not possibly post each one :)

But I CAN tell you, for GUNNER, this is pretty handy: http://www.red.com/store/new-releases/product/gunner-handle-pack

Get one pack to run GUNNER with one handle. Get two to run with dual handles.

Lots of new stuff came in today.. keep your eye on the store at RED.COM. Should be 10 new pieces for you guys to gather :)

Just a couple.. the GUNNER finally his here, as well as the long awaited adjustable mount for the spinner EVF mount.

Can You send me one to video review?

Thanks Brent. Too bad there aren't any cameras in those new pics :(

That's a good point, Bob.

With some of the items, it might be good to have a picture or two where you show it being incorporated into a rig.

I know there must be a temptation to not give just one or two examples when this stuff is so versatile, but some of the items do beg an explanation ... even for those of us glued to Reduser.

Another thing is that potential consumers don't really have a chance to tinker and play with this Red gear, like they do with other products, before they buy it. There are limited retail outlets after all. If the system remains the same, it would be good for you to photographically tinker a bit for them.

The QR plate system videos were a great start, but obviously there was only so much time to produce those videos.

One of the best videos I have seen so far was from NAB thanks to ... Tonaci, I think. Matt went through a mess load of Clutch, Gunner and rosette configurations in the tent.

Agreed, guys. More videos and more images will be done. Just did not want that to hold up posting tonight :)

Dose the Gunner with the 19mm Swat Rail Clamp put the rods at the proper distance from the lens to align with a matte box ? Dose this make sense?

for "standard" height you need to use the Quick Release assembly.. that will get everything to standard height to work with other 3rd party stuff that can't adjust..

So, do you use the Bolt On QR, or the Dovetail QR? And if you can use the Dovetail QR, does that mount directly to the Gunner, or do you have to purchase the long/short dovetail mounting plate too? Sorry if this is a silly question...I really just have no idea.

The Bolt on QR

Please put a Gunner package with all necessary accessories in red store, that is great for buyers, otherwise very difficult to find the suitable things for Gunner,Thank you

Good feedback, Brian and Richard. Added the bit about the Quick Release Platform (Bolt on) to the GUNNER product description.

SUNLIPREM, do you see the list of recommended items on that same page? Those are all links to also view each item.

Thanks Brent. I think that's helpful for everyone. It can be a little confusing when there's SO many options!
Can't wait to get the Gunner. It looks like an amazing handled solution (with limitless options!).

The Gunner looks nice, and really affordable. It looks like it slides apart... is that attachment a standard dovetail in there?
Can we mount anything inside of the Gunner's front part?
And are those 1/4-20 holes i think I see on the back of the shoulder pad section?

Would make for quite a nice rig to be sure.

Jarred, hope you guys can post some videos for different configurations with your rail components- quick and slick like you did with the recent stills workflow. Honestly I'm a bit overwhelmed by the vast selection available not only from the red store, which i think for most red users is always the first choice, but also from third parties. Its hard for me to evaluate usage scenarios by only the supplied pictures... For example, it was only by watching Ted in the Engadget video that I got a glimpse of that very basic configuration- one that I could see myself using in the real world!

Hope you can make a series of those and put them on the red store, either on the demo page or when we highlight on the product we are looking at! This would truly help!

Ditto - no idea how some of the parts in the Store fit together. Please have the boyz just leave the Epic on the 3D model before passing it along to you.
