  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB13- Dragon Sensor Upgrade Program begins

RED is SO AWESOME...
 
I can't express how happy I am that 6K broke past 86fps and made it up to 100fps. Specifically 96fps is going to be utterly useful.

I promise to not disappoint and blow your minds on this one... While showing as little nudity as possible, and even so this time around is different then when M8 first came out, this time thanks to RED's progress many at once will get the pleasure of shooting the DRAGON starting next week, so I'll expect some amazing footage form many fellow Reduser, I do look so forward to showcase my Dragon love... And how much Dragon loves skin and color... ;)
 
I really want to upgrade to Dragon right away but am really nervous that it was JUST barely finished. Are we going to have all kinds of issues at first? Seems like this things hasn't really been beta tested. I thought RED was only going to release products that were totally ready, tested, and working well. Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited- wallet open. Just nervous.

No details yet. I expect we'll have them around 9am Pacific Time when Red.com is back online.

I have the same fear...will we have the same issues as early Epics? As in no playback enabled, no audio recording etc... And having to wait months after the release to get all the options and features we had with the standard MX sensor?

Sounds like the color science is or isn't done? I don't know- hard to tell. Will there be a new color space/gamma? How long will it take before these make their way into third party post solutions like base light, resolve, etc?
