  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB Recon thread. Feel free to post any product information you come across.

Tilta Nucleus GB starting within 2-weeks. RED users will get priority allocations - first ones will be going to us. Hoping to get a demo to put it through the paces, test torque, functionality, etc., soon.

And yes, we will pay less than the already insane price of $1199.

Please have someone (in REDuser) to test this unit, I can be in for two units, however, I must wait for demo/test

Chris,
I'll be down for the group buy too. looks like a really nice unit.

The Tilta camera cart looks VERY nice, very very nice, i was quoted $1500 and
i'm damn sure gonna order one at that price.

I'm interested in their 7" monitor too,, i didn't see that in the booth, musta missed it

The production I'm starting next week is a perfect use case scenario for this type of unit. Jib, gimbal, car-to-car, and shoulder mount. I'll put my hand up for doing the demo review if they can ship to NorCal.

very very exciting! sign me up!

Definitely in for the group buy of the Nucleus-M. A no-brainer if there ever was one. Who is organizing this ?

Thanks

Trying to get one asap to put it through the paces. They only have 1 here in the USA which will be living on their showroom. I can hopefully take it for a spin over an upcoming shoot, and will be sure to post feedback and my review of it.

That would be great. Came across this from Newsshooter's NAB article:

"We had a quick try out on the show floor, and found that the system maybe wasn’t quite as smooth as other ones we’ve tried. Still, it’s always nice to be proved wrong about these things, and we’ll follow the development of the Nucleus M with interest."

I know this is in another price range compared to the big boy WFFs, but I'm curious how it holds up in your testing.

I know this is slightly off topic, but why does the Tilta site suck so bad. I can't figure out any of their stuff for Red, and no details on these new items.

Same experience here Thomas. I assume it's a matter of staying in the game by hyping all the coming toys that are -almost- ready to hype, while not over-promising things that aren't quite concrete yet. I strongly doubt it's a simple matter of poor site organization.
