  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2015

Sorry to hear that Jeff, I was looking forward to see you again buddy, I guess I'll be seeing you in LA, possibly Cinegear?

On an other note, I am already here in Vegas prepping the Dragon for some shoots to take some material to the NAB floor... While having a blast with the various OLPF's... :)

If anyone happens to have their laptop with them on the show floor, please stop by SL14816 (SpectraCal) and we will calibrate it for you at no charge. At was a big hit last year, so we are doing it again. Mods, if there is a problem with me posting this, please let me know and I will remove it.

What OS should the laptop be at for this calibration?

We have an older MBP that needs loving :)

See you at NAB with "all" of my laptops :) Kidding, but likely just one!
 
My brother and I will be there, we've never missed a Las Vegas NAB since '04 when we were in college at UNLV. Looking forward to what RED announces this year and I'm also looking forward to that SLR Magic 2x Anamorphic adapter! :D

I'm just going to have to do the exhibits between 9 to 2 ;) ... then do some meetings Thursday afternoon & Friday, just to crazy of a year ... wish i could attend some sessions.

edit ... i just couldn't fit it all in and coming for most of the event.

Didn't RED give a Sidewinder prototype away last year to the first visitors to the booth? Or was it the 2014 book? I seem to remember that the Sidewinder had twice the number of hex keys originally.

Any word on special freebies?
 
Looking forward to see some test footages shot on Letus Anamorphx 1.8x at NAB as well. It has been way too long since their annoucement last NAB about 1.8x

I'm more interested in the SLR Magic 2X Anamorphot adapter :)

Also, the Illumina 1.3X adapter is interesting for sure. Wish they'd offer both 1.3X and 2X however.

They gave away the books. A select few got early versions of the sidewinder.
