  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2011 update...

Isn't the monstro upgrade just a simple buying of the new brains when they come out which are also "EPIC" just different sensors

O.o wow...that's...crazy... so kind of like MX to the M, the same for Monstro system to the EPIC X/S35? If its like a sub 10K price like the MX was, it's a no brainer! shame they won't shout details till 2012, wish they announced it after EPIC-X finished shipping, going to be really wanting to know more now! haha

The red dot com website is down and being upgraded... Heh heh heh

I really want to know what pricing RED would do for the 4K projector, I'm guessing somewhere in the 50K-80K range?

I'm a little bummed that the Epic M is only a limited run thing. If I had that cash, I would totally spring for the machined hand built version over the cast assembly line version. Unfortunately, by the time I have the cash for something like this, all the M's will be gone. Hey Red, have you considered continuing to make M's even after Epic X production starts? I am sure there are some that would want hand built cameras. Hell it would be amazing if you offered Epic M's with custom color finishes like Jared's cams. Is this possibly. Basically, If I came to you in three or four years with 70 grand, would you build me a custom camera in the color of my choice? Hypothetically speaking of course.
