  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2011 update...

Attending my first NAB this year! Coming from Japan :)

I can't wait and am really looking forward to seeing everyone in person for the first time, not to mention whatever it is that Red will be revealing Monday. I'm going straight for the Red booth first thing Monday morning!

Arrived in LA. Hanging here for a few days then off to Vegas.
 
Very excited for my first NAB! My crew and I just got our badges in the mail yesterday. We're flying out from Philly on Saturday. It will be my second time seeing the Epic in person and I can't wait to see what else RED has in store!
 
Well, Joseph and I are in Vegas, our Epic American Tour, however not over yet, has only left us to shoot Vegas and the Grand Canyon, so we hope to see all of you at NAB,
we will be at the RED booth as well as around the floor, with Epic at end... Can't wait to see all the goodies... Oh and the Surprises of course... ;)
 
This is going to be one of those times in RED History where you will want to say "I was there..."

I can't wait for all of the surprises to be unveiled. It's gonna be SICK!

Absolutely, I feel privileged that I'll be able to be there when it all begins to happen. Thanks again guys for keeping the community updated over the last couple months and I look forward to meeting all of you in person.
 
Well I just booked my flight and am now sorting hotels and a hire car to drive from LA on Sunday night. Looking forward to my first ever NAB. We are wrapping on Friday on a TV drama pilot shooting in Marbella in southern Spain, I fly back to the UK on Saturday then out to LA on Sunday. I think I'm gonna be jet lagged but it's gonna fun.

OK Joseph, million dollar question... did you get to keep the scarlet?? Enjoy your moment, you one lucky guy. I personally hope you get the first one. Glad to see you had the camera tethered! Jim would not have bought you story if you said you dropped it out of that chopper.

Does it have a nice image stabilizer? One thing I had is having a nice chopper and having to deal with jello cam on a 5d.
 
This will be my first NAB ever this year as well. I am beyond excited.
