  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2011 update...

im for sure not going this year...I'm in in DC and the cost of flying to Vegas, booking a hotel for the duration of the event, and flying back...in addition to missed work...would probably be close to $2000 when its all said and done so I think I'll show my support for red by putting that towards my upcoming purchase of a Scarlet cinema 2/3" and accessories.

Thanks Jim ... quick question when you have a sec ... knowing that I (and many others here) will primarily be coming to see Red -- which day (or days) would you absolutely make sure you are there?

I ask because many of us won't attend the whole show, but don't want to miss any big unveilings or parties!! Thanks :)
 
Ouch...

I really hate it when Jim hints at surprises in Vegas. usually that leads to 2-4 years of geeky lust, weird speculations, wild requests, general impatience, overall jealousy of those directly involved and awe...

Does a floor booth mean no Michael Cioni presentation on the state of the digital ecosystem? Bummer. I have very much have enjoyed hearing his insightful presentations on all things RED...

I understand that this is an important year for RED to have a presence on the floor, but I'll kind of miss the speakers - I always learned a coupla tricks.

Got my visa . Registered for NAB 2011 .Will be doing the bookings this weekend.

I'm so looking forward to NAB! It's "Dad's Vacation."
This time I want to hold an Epic, by the way. Last year I just stood as close as I could and looked over shoulders (Which isn't really too hard for me).

Hi Guys...just a question will the suprise be announce during the conference day or during the exhibit days? And are the line going in your tent going to be shorter than 2006? I remember standing 2+ hr in line in 2006..but it was worth it...to see FRankie in the glass box.
