  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2011 update...

Exactly. That's why I asked before which days were most important for us to be there -- since many will not be attending every day of the show .....

Obviously the secret will be out the 1st day. Lots of eye candy every day.

Jim you have no idea how bad I want to see Red Ray shipping -I have zero interest in having to buy an SRW 5500/5800 VTR at 100K for mastering purposes. I'd much rather have 2 of these so I can send one to a post shop who can then do a dub to SR for my deliverables.

How much do you guys wanna bet the "secret" at NAB will be released in a RECON the weekend leading up to NAB? I'm sure the RED Team would like to see the initial worldwide response... :)

I vote against that! NAB secrets really add to the fun and magic of the show.

I agree this year is my 1st NAB and I want it to be great..
I will try not to read the forms to much to get spoiled.

Also Jim, Eye candy meaning we can not touch the reds?
 
My first NAB too ... SO EXCITED ... was thinking I might not stay the whole time but then again, there's going to be sooooooooooo much amazing gear. Hard to absorb all of it in just two days. I could probably spend days hanging out and talking shop around the Red booth!!! (before Jim and Jarred kindly tell me to "get lost" lol).
 
Does anyone know if there's an age requirement? I'm only 16, and since it's in Vegas, I figured I'd better ask.

Thanks Jim...but do they allow people with the Exhibit pass into the conference session? All the time i went to NAB only register for the exhibit day because it free. I never attend the conference day so is exhibit pass good for conference day also?

I ought to get a job from RED on answering peoples questions about specifications, release dates, the difference between each brain, pros/cons of each, and so on.

I think I could really do a great job at that. Guys, you know how to get a hold of me to speak about hiring me for a few days. Give me a test or something. And, I am great at getting people to like me or a product I'm behind. If Apple only knew how many individuals/businesses have adopted their systems because of me... hehe

Call me, RED. I'd love to join the madness...

i pretty sure about the surprise, well.. i hope note cause i just got some lenses but...
