You're telling me that you shot her singing WHILE you were stop motioning the candy OFF her?

Everything is live action then reversed, no stop motion. The candy melts with the water, then we reversed the footage for the growing effect. The singer had to sing everything backwards at 30fps, hence the out of sync stuff.

someone sure has money.

That is what I thought...To think that on the 5'th of September I will be starting a 7 day shoot on a 25 minute film and all the money we have is 10K euro given to us by the French and 17K USD given by the Mozambican Filmmakers Association... I would love to have 50K euro for a music video...Any way, prices in Europe are crazy, but equipment prices are the same for everyone, a RED is a RED, just that we in Mozambique pay an extra 42% in import taxes....
But the music video does look great...

Absolutely Fantastic Job, at the very beginning it almost made me jump as it has a feel of despair and sadness as it has on a scene for Rape of a Beauty, would like to know more about the singer, for a possible participation on Rape of a Beauty, as well as those involved in the effects and color grading.

What was funny, is that since I liked the mood of the song, but was very interested on her performance on video, I stop/played few times trying to get it in sink, but after reading the response here now I know why, .
