Et voilà, another red camera ready to shoot. Funny feeling to finally play with it. I even can't remember when I started following the adventure of the red one. All I remember is I was waiting for the cine porter to buy a HVX. And then...Hé hé.
I'm in another league now and the low dollar helped.
This is the second camera I bought (the thirst one was a baulieu S8 and it was 20 years ago) and today I feel like a spoiled boy. Like said an active member of red user (he will recognise himself). I'm a happy puppy.
Still missing some pieces like shoulder and bottom plate, but luckuly the 6" rode I've ordered did permit me to go outside and do some testing. Even if a second top mount would have been a better solution thought. Starting shooting was a piece of cake, thanks to that community and to the generous professionals around there who share their knowledge. Hope that spirit will continue fo ever on red user.
Big up to the all red team, and Mr Jannard, if one day you fly in the area, it will be a honnor to have you for dinner on that terrasse, my wife is a professional cook.

i hope red owners are welcome too to enjoy the dinner when we are in toscany!

Thank you guys wish I'll meet more reduser in the futur. I met some at IBC last year, that was fun.
Bassam the goosse (they're not ducks) doesn't like the red, they attaqued me each time I filmed them. Those two are punks. Good for training focusing thought.
Back to Paris for a week of work, didn't have the time to continue testing nikon lenses with Mr Hulot. When I'll have more time, promise Rocko I'll throught some bits of Toscany on the forum. By the way SF Bay is a nice place to be aswell.
Steven Marc good luck for friday
