Hi,

I'm Florent, a movie director from Paris, France.
I wanted to share my new movie with you.

The movie was shot in the famous Louvre Museum in Paris...entirely empty...!
So, if you have 2 minutes to watch it, it would be cool.

Vimeo link here : https://vimeo.com/57078160

We shot the movie with the RED Scarlet + lenses : Arri 12mm & Red Pro Zoom 17-50mm.
No additional lights, the entire movie was shot with natural light.

Feel free to send me some feedback.

And if you want to share it around you, to the world, it will be great !!
Thank you.

Best regards and Happy New Year !!

very nice, so jealous, that would have been such an amazing experience to shoot, I was at the Louvre 4 months ago and couldn't see half of the stuff because of all the tourists there and thought how amazing it would be to spend a night there alone with an Epic ^^

Making the Scarlet shine, love the grade. Must have been an awesome shoot. Great job Florent keep it up!

Very nice. Well shot, well edited, great story...and of course...awesome location. Reminded me of how much I love that museum.

Dude this is great stuff. Love the deep focus shots and the naturalistic grade. Very milky, and almost... dare i say it... alexa ish?

Hello everyone !!
First, I would like to thank all of you for having taken time to watch my film and to answer me here !
I am very pleased with your opinion :-)

jimhare, we had only 4 hours to shoot...

Hey Florent,

Brilliant film, love it! I would be very grateful if you could share more about the process of making the film. The shots are incredibly steady and accurate in many cases too. Was it all purely a steadicam job , or did you also use a dolly with curved tracks on some shots?

On another note, I am co-producing a film that may require filming in Paris at short notice. You have a Scarlet which is what I'm using to film this documentary. Can you email me your contact details, as I may need a second man ready to deploy on the ground. I'll give you a call.

Thanks
Antonio

Hi Antonio !!
Thank you so much for your compliments !!

All shots have been exclusively shot with a steadycam, no dolly or crane, no addtional light.
I chose this way to shoot only with a steadicam because we only had 4 hours to shoot and it was an obligation to shoot very quickly.
As you noticed the shots are very stable because my Steadicam operator is very good;-)

I'll send you an email so we can discuss your project in Paris!
Many thanks.
