Monitor update: Neway CK700HOX

Hey haven't posted in a long time, too busy shooting with my R1MX. But given the output problems for DVI/Menus and monitor compatibility, I thought I should share my new monitor purchase. This monitor CK700HOX by Neway features waveform monitor and histogram display as well as peaking for around 230.00. It's also an IPS screen as well.

I just fired it up with my R1MX and it works perfectly. Beautiful metal cased 7" monitor and it comes with so many accessories, hood, two battery plates of your choosing, AC power cable, HDMI mini cable and all in a nice carrying case with foam. It's an amazing deal.

They also have an SDI model as well. You can email cole@newayil.com. Very helpful trying to get answers to my questions about the R1MX's HDMI output.

I know the Lillput has different options, for SDI etc..

Wow, good catch! I think it's the exact same model as far as I can see, but at half the price. The case, sunshade and options are identical.

Hey Abe - good news - that monitor looks like just what I need for my Epic. I have the 5" touch and a 26" Panny but need something in between that's affordable and battery operated.

I think the resolution is good too?

Hey Doug, it's 1200x800. It's a big step up in quality from my Ruige.
