  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

"Missing Security Token"

I have been having this same issue on and off as well.
 
It's happening to me on a regular basis in Safari 4.0.5.

Only thing about dumping the Reduser cookie - won't it dump my browsing history and lose the ability to jump past the threads I have already seen?
 
just log out, change to "def" style, log in, change back to reduser 3.0. should work for the time being
 
making some changes here and there... keep me up to date on those of you still having problems... particularly if you haven't done the switch to the "def" style. or if you want to be a guinea pig, you can delete your cookies and not log in using def style... see if the issue is still occurring or if it gets resolved.

Also, when you post in this thread, if you can please tell me exactly what you were doing on the forum when you got the error, that would be very helpful.

I'm getting the error randomly, when posting to threads, and submitting PMs.
 
Had it happen again just now. Mac Safari 4.0. Reset Safari and log back in solves problem. This time was trying to create new thread when it happened on submit.

ok... it's not quite done yet, but for those of you who are having this issue bad, feel free to select the reduser 4.0 style from the drop down box at the bottom left of any page. you should be good after that. It'll become the default style just as soon as I'm finished, and everyone else will get defaulted to it as well at that point. in the meantime, those of you with issues, can feel free to use it, if you don't mind things possibly suddenly changing in front of your eyes as I'm trying to fix one thing :)

ok. security token error is fixed. everyone will eventually be defaulted over to the new style which will not have this issue... and don't worry, looks almost identical to the one you've been using... just no more security token b.s. :)

You can accelerate your move to the new style probably by logging out, clear your cookie and log back in (might not even need to clear your cookies first)

Jarred, I believe that a cake (the traditional present for fixing the token error) is in order.
