  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OKAY.... Everyone should be seeing the new style now.... and (fingers crossed) the security token crap should be fixed (FINALLY!!) for good.

If you have issue. log out, close the tab. clear your cache and cookies, then go back to reduser and log back in... should be 100% good to go...

Thanks for getting on top of this Jason. It was easy enough to go back to Safari, but I was in such a habit of going to Firefox and opening Reduser, it's great to not have the D'oh moments anymore!

heh heh heh i dont know what i am going to do to with all the free time I have now that i dont need to yell at Jason every day to fix the token problem... :)

Missing security token problem is back on Firefox 3.6.3 (cleared cache & cookies...no good), Safari 4.0.5 works fine.
 
It has happened to me on Safari iPhone as recently as 10:30 this AM.

I just experienced this problem (Safari 4.0.5) for the time yesterday viewing an attachment and again today when I tried to post. Clearing cache and cookies seemed to solve it.
 
Had some issues with an invalid security token error page. Couldn't post for a bit even though it was working only moments before. I cleared my cache, cookies, restarted safari, etc.. nothing fixed it. I sent a PM to you, Jason, that worked. But then I couldn't post again after that.

It mysteriously started letting me post again a few minutes later, I changed nothing, it just started working again.

Given how it just suddenly started giving me the error for no reason, when nothing had changed and then returned to being functional once again when I changed nothing, it seems more like a glitch on the server with security flags or info within the site database.

I hope you have a good, recent backup of the forums. Something doesn't seem right. I've also had some pages stall for several seconds, 10 to 15 seconds, here and there when loading. Something just doesn't "feel right" about the forums tonight... Last time things didn't "feel right" it went Kaboom...

I have experienced it a couple of times when trying to post responses or send a PM this week using Firefox. Clearing the cache and cookies solved it.
 
Couple if times with IE8/In7x64 as well.

last time was yesterday attempting to say the very same thing in this thread, LOL.

I logged out of the forum, resatrted browser, and then was able to post the first time.
 
clear your REDUSER cookie, that should fix it.
 
why this stupid security token thing decides to start acting up after months of it working flawlessly and checking it as fixed.... urgghhh..

anyways... i went through some of the likely suspects and made some changes... clear cookies and cache and let me know if the problem persists.
