  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yes we will be LIVE on the net - so streaming - from 1:30 pm on Tuesday Vegas time...

so 1:30 - 2:00 Is Jason and I with co-founder Jeff Heusser

2:00 ish is Ted live discussing the surprise but also he has agreed to discuss shortages such as Bomb EVF to just regular Red One users etc... and Red's plans to address 'normal orders'

2:30 ish Stu Maschwitz Discussing shooting with the EPIC and also some new surprise of his own ;-)

Stu will also involve the EPIC on steadicam live streaming wirelessly to the ipad.

3:00 ish After that we are joined by Tyler Ginter - discussing both DSLR and RED EPIC

3:30 Gen Art's Gary Oberbrunner will join us for a run down on new GFX plugins and then we will do our picks of the show...

All of this will both audio recorded as a podcast (standard RC podcast on fxguide) and LIVE in real time broadcast on the net

In Vegas now for NAB and it is amazing to just walk about the city and film with the EPIC.
This is a shot from about midnight Friday, 3stops HDR looking down on the strip.
This should be a good week.

Mike, I think I 'taw some REDVOLTS in your possession on a NAB video. Did you get some? Can you give us first impressions?

Yes I have Volts and of course a recharger, plus some other new bits and pieces from RED.

I really like the Volts, I was briefly discussing them with Jim - normal shooting is about 30 mins - but our crazy HDRx - 120 fps stuff - is less than that.
I LOVE them - I need a lot more - or a multi- battery option,... but EPIC with Volts is how life should be, we had them on the EPIC and the Scarlet we were shooting with yesterday and I cant thank the RED team enough for managing to get us some in the middle of pre-NAB crazyness. - I hope the Margaritas at our party went a tiny way to saying thanks - but Graeme please stop telling my partners accurate probability profiles on my wild plans (I normally can bullsh*t with stats - except when you and Deanan are there to correct me !!!)
Also thanks to Ted for the Post Pit chat -it was great to get accurate feeling for so many items, deliveries, and products (away from the Dragon).
Finally HUGE shout out to my man Travis - Seriously the best customer support I have had in years... if you see Travis in the RED Booth today or tomorrow - the guy is a legend - and we really appreciate it
