The wireless audio receivers are brilliant. Now add XLR inputs, pots and 20 segment led meter for a pro audio section that will rock.

Sounds like we have to choose between a second EVF port and wireless beaming. They're both great. Time code feature is super as well.

Somewhere between this new module and the Pro I/O. Hard to please everybody, huh?

That looks very promising ! I'm a bit concerned about the price this may cost, I'm afraid it will end up being quite expensive. The Pro I/O already costs $3750, so I think this module will end up in the $5000 - $10.000 range...
I'm really curious about the wireless video transmitter. If it can send a signal to multiple receivers and to a few ipads or iphones with just a 1 frame latency, then it is just the perfect module !
Just sad that it doesn't add a second Red EVF/LCD port.
I also hope firmware updates will help to support more wireless follow focus units like Bartech, Viewfactor (when it comes out) or other smaller and cheaper ones (RTMotion comes to mind). Make it truely universal ! Same for the wireless audio receiver.

Anyway, can't wait to hear more about this !

change the HDSI for the 2nd monitor port and charge extra for it.
with this, nobody really wants to add the clumsy I/o just to use the 2nd port.
i know you guys listen......or bring a LCD TS with HDSDi to the market where we can controll everything in the menus.

not sure but to have cables coming from the back to the lens, wouldn't it be nice to have a cable that bundles the 3 cables and eliminates the need for too much cable , or connectors that depart from the front.

Module, module, module… What about the lens on the front of the camera in the video? That wasn't a standard RPP - Both the focus and iris ring were turning; controlled by the module?
Could this hint to the next RPP's (or whatever they may be called) having focus / iris servos controlled by the RedMote, Touch LCD, Side Handle, & MEIZLER MODULE????

Can't wait for the big reveal at NAB. (and I may have a set of RPP's for sale)
