  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

MEET FELIX....

Hi!

I am a little confused. The links underneath the still of Felix are for Epic, and the still shot was labelled Scarlet but when you save the link it is the 96fps Epic. So is the still shot scarlet and the rest of the motion shots in Jarred's post all Epic?

The motion shots posted by Jarred are Epic.

In addition there is posted a short motion-RAW from Scarlet + Jarreds own stills...
 
My first time EVER using RedCineX (and I'm ashamed to say, my first ever color grading, yes, I'm a lazy p**k when it comes to color grading), so go easy guys...

EDIT: Wow, it looked a lot better on my laptop...maybe because I opened it in preview and downsized it from a 28MB file to a 120kb file...

Finally, I'm glad to see that the Scarlet is a real RED camera : same quality, grading possibilities as any other RED camera.
 
Just waking up to the excitement. Thanks for the posts Jarred. Great shot.
Love having a new clip to play with, especially one from Scarlet.
It all just keeps getting better and better.

Great to play with this shot. I do see a lot of gain even at 250 asa... does every one have this issue? Or is it me? :mad:

Thought would have a quick experiment. There is a nice amount of latitude to play with.

-Can't upload an image as it says a security token is missing. Is that because I am using another Reduser's computer or because I haven't posted enough, and don't have the authority?

Just use an online pics hosting service and use the BBcode to put it here. ;)

I would like to ask the pros. Im trying to export the footage on my black macbook, in 3k, in the original size, but i can't. In the batch window the export starts but in 1 second it writes that Finished with an error or something like this. In an other time the redcine quited.
But I could simply export in SD or in 720p so i dont know what is the problem. Maybe do i need a red rocket, or just my macbook is too weak for this? Please help me.

Absolutely amazing... Although what is with Red and lions? Isn't this like the 4th picture of a big cat? Do the staff have them as pets that feast on inferior cameras? In any case this is simply stunning... Although 2.2 times 1080p is a bit low :)

Don't put HTML between ' [ img ] & [/ img ]' without space. Put only the direct link to the jpg file.
