  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

March shipment Update - Weapon, Scarlet-W, Raven

I'd hope not. I'd imagine that any Raven pre-order after Dec 10th would keep whatever date/time it had, meaning it would come after day 1 Scarlet-W preorders
 
This is strange. Weapon footage imports into FCPX just fine. I wonder what is different?

I guess my point was on the side of, Scarlets seem to be going out pretty fast. And since it's a higher priced item, less pre-orders than on the Raven.
I know its still early in the shipping, I will ride the wave a bit and see how things pickup with the production.
 
I highly doubt this. Here's the breakdown. Yes, there are a lot of RAVEN orders but there are a lot of W orders as well. A lot of people switched from RAVEN to W, then you have Scarlet-Dragon upgrades, then general pre-orders. For W, we are still on RAVEN switchers and hopefully it should wrap up within the next two weeks. Then, it will go to Scarlet-Dragon upgrades because they have priority. Then, it will go to Scarlet-W pre-orders from Dec.10th onward. If you ordered RAVEN pre-W, and swapped, you are number 1 in the queue in the grand scheme of things. Also, let me talk about order density. The reason why timestamps aren't moving very fast for either camera right now is because the launch date of RAVEN had a lot of orders in a short amount of time. So once they take care of Sept.24 and 25th, the number of orders per hour is going to decrease and the blasts will cover a wider range of hours/days/weeks and so on until they become in-stock. So if you are Feb.6, switching to W won't exactly guarantee you a camera quicker. Plus, packages must ship complete which always ship more slowly than a la carte brains. Hope this helps.

Jarred, Brent,

Any chance one of you can share some news about allocations this week? I know you guys are working like crazy but I think it will help people calm their nerves about receiving their allocations for W and RAVEN. Mostly W people because of that RAVEN swapper thing this month.

Sure... Lemme find where we sit tomorrow and then give an update. The Raven to Scarlet w crossovers were way way more than we thought so I'll be able to find where that cut off point is.

Jordan... who are you kidding. None of us are patient about our Ravens/packages - We just have no choice haha. We DO understand the guys/girls at RED are awesome and busier than a mosquito at a nudist colony. I'm assuming that'd be pretty busy...
