  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

March shipment Update - Weapon, Scarlet-W, Raven

How do you figure? Every single person allocated for SCARLET-W so far WAS a RAVEN order at one point. Oh, and by them moving to SCARLET-W, it moved everyone behind in them in RAVEN queue up.

Plan is still the same - both for brain only and packages.

oh ok, that makes sense then, so no scarlets went out to anyone that wasnt a raven preorder? got it.
still a little surprised that you didnt keep a handful of accessories for the first raven pkg allocations.
im not freaking out or ungrateful by any means. its just the raven pkg deal existed long before the scarlet ones did, just saying :)

Think of it this way, you didn't lose out on anything as far as getting accessories sooner since all of us switch overs would have gotten the accessories either in a Raven package or S-W package ahead of yourself. So Red in fact DID keep accessories for the first raven package allocations, they just now happen to have S-W's attached to them ;).
 
hey brent im not sure if this is the right place to ask but i was told i was allocated at the last week of february and my card was charged for the full amount of the Scarlet W Package on March 1st. I was told they were gonna send a brain but i told my rep that i had ordered the package and not just the brain. He fixed it and then charged my card and then I began to wait. I saw a couple people on reduser who may have had a later timestamp than me receive an order. I was a Raven switch over and ordered within the first 3 hours . Im just hoping that my order and timestamp was not compromised during the process with my rep. Im fine continuing to wait but im just hoping i kept my place in line and something didnt happen with the confusion on the order. Any confirmation would be much appreciated. thank you so much for your time .

um, yeah, no if i would of switched i would of had the scarlet-w pkg already because i have a very very early time stamp.
but thats ok, i dont need a scarlet-w. i just didnt realize only raven pkg switchers got theirs, though i hope the ones that did had very early time stamps too, like in the first 12 minutes.

oh yeah, see, rob right above me says his scarlet pkg was allocated already, (but he hasnt got it) though his raven order was in the first 3 hours, my raven pkg was in the first 12 minutes….
but that might be why he didnt get it.
 
Hello Brent! Thanks for the update! Quick Q: Does Scarlet W package who ordered the day it was announced in December, are still to begin blasting emails beginning of April? Sorry for asking. I pushed to May 10th my film dates to have more chance to take my Scarlet W and not Rent another Cam.

not to answer for brent, but i dont think he is going to possibly be able to tell. i mean that is so far away and every raven preorder from sept-dec can keep switching to scarlet-w and keep pushing you back. sorry, i just dont think it's an answerable question. he cant even answer what is going to happen next week.
i think you should do your job and if the camera comes, bonus! and if it doesnt, you can still create…BM micro cinemas are readily shipping now!

Ah, didn't realize you were THAT early in the queue. Then yes, I could see why you would want your package to ship sooner than later as you bought into it much sooner than most. I'm within the first 3 hours and haven't gotten an email (yet). So from what I can deduce, it's prior to the first 3 hours that have gotten emails for S-W and brain only S-W orders, though the brain only I'm not too sure where those fall in terms of time stamps.

yeah, so thats the only thing that is weird to me, if like rob said, he saw packages for scarlet-w go out that were hours later, then yeah, those pkg accessories, at least some of them should of been saved for the raven pkgs ordered in the first minutes.
honestly, i dont know how the hell they keep track of all this!

2/23: Epic Dragon received at RED HQ, evaluated after a few days, needed a minor repair
3/4: Remaining payment in place, paperwork signed

I know there was a slight delay due to the amount of upgrades, but I believe there was a further delay because I ordered stealth. Finally, I elected to go non-stealth and will have the logo switched out at a later date.
