  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

March shipment Update - Weapon, Scarlet-W, Raven

Yes Brent confirmed that a case will ship with Raven packages... Same case as the Scarlet W except in black! Good times!
 
Are any of the RAVEN packages going to be part of the blast or is this brains only? BTW appreciate the heads up regardless. Communication has been great!
 
We are still pretty backed up on accessories in the kits, so expect brain only for both for this blast.

Brent, thanks for the updates, they are much appreciated.

Quick question, have any Scarlet-W packages gone out? Jarred estimated Raven switchers should have their cameras by end of March... can you tell us if this applies to Brain only, or packages as well. I hate annoy you guys, but the extra clarity may allow me to clear my head a bit ;).

I am very impressed by the communication from all of the RED peeps though. I only feel better and better about this investment everyday.

*cries* --- but not because I bought a package, but because the communication and honesty displayed by Brent & everyone at RED is amazing--it's awesome doing business with you.

+1 Really need to know this as well. Unfortunate circumstances may force me to cancel my order depending on allocation time :(

Damn.
Crazy that scarlet-w packages made it out already and Raven packages ordered months before aren't :(
so new scarlet stole our stuff!

Is it safe to assume that packages might not start allocating until next week (or 2)? Maybe it will help me clear my head from not checking my emails every so often over the weekend. I'll just relax and look at other things :crazy:

Hi Ryan,

From what I understand, there have already been some Scarlet-W packages sent out, but only from the first 2-3 hours of Raven timestamp switchovers. I also believe that it was clarified that the allocations expected by the end of this month for Scarlet-W would be for both bodies and packages with timestamps prior to the Scarlet-W being announced. I am curious myself to find out whether this is still the case so any update would be much appreciated.

one thing is for sure, these cameras will work as expected out of the box, and i would think its safe to assume those who got in on the frist couple days will most likely have their cameras with in a few weeks. the scarlet brains seemed to go out pretty fast, and i saw people talking about getting their packages about a week after the brain blasts. the AKS deff seem to slow things up, and media
 
I concur!!! Very professional and honest. I'm glad they keep us informed. So glad to be joining the Red ecosystem!

i just surprised they didnt keep some accessories around to send out with the first raven pkgs orders, and gave them to the scarlets.
at least get people ravens that can actually shoot and be monitored. so now there will be a bunch of non-working raven brains out there.
 
I want an email too. However, on the other hand, I sort of DON'T want an email, since I don't know what kind of surprises will be dropped at NAB...specifically regarding what people are calling Epic-W.
