When I heard 'professional pocket camera' the first thing I thought of was a leica rangefinder... so that's what I'm looking for:
1) s35 sized sensor - 1080p resolution
2) compact, sharp & fast interchangeable primes
3) manual focus, aperture and shutter speed with real physical controls
4) Redcode Raw to CF cards
5) a high-res display
Imagine the kind of stuff you could shoot with the combination of incredible sensitivity (large sensor with relatively low pixel density) and fast, sharp primes - all in a package which attracts no more attention than your average tourist's point-and-shoot. While the Red one is revolutionary for independents shooting hollywood-style films, I think a camera like I'm describing could spawn a new genre of smaller-scale indie filmmaking.
It would fit the same role as the classic leica rangefinders - it's not a replacement for your SLR, medium- or large-format camera, it's the camera you take with you and shoot with anywhere and everywhere. For some though it's unique aesthetic and flexibility would make it a primary choice.
