Sorry... not resentful. It's impressive as hell to have curved screen. For some reason my brain hurt just thinking about a curved screen. So, yes I shouldn't knock it before trying it, but my guess is that it's not for me.

General drawbacks:
- Reduced optimal viewing angle, not pixel related but distorsion related. Viewed from the side it looks weird and screen shape is distracting.
- With a glossy surface every reflection gets stretched into a horizontal streak edge to edge.

I saw a smaller curved LG a few days ago and while entertaining, am not sure I saw any obvious benefits. Perhaps it was because it was a 40" but first feeling was not for me. The Mitsubishi 4K 85" however is magnificent…though 40k.

Curved screens only make sense on *extremely* large displays when the viewer is very close. I'd guess they aren't really worth it for screens less than 10 ft across unless you're sitting a few feet away from them. Confirmed this recently with an LG or Sony curved 55 inch…cool but meh.

Almost every TV maker here at CES has curved glass. Curved seems to be this year's 3D. The viewing angle is not as bad as I imagined, and in the really big displays it's kinda neat, but like mentioned above the shape can be a bit distracting.

Clearly, the best viewing angle is to lay on one's side just below the screen.
