  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Letus Gimbal

I was just worry about having enough space for the hdmi cable sticking out of the back of the Epic...I am also considering getting Wood Cam C box converter to stick at the end of the Epic which has a spot on top to mount the paralinx directly (and a built in sdi to hdmi and vice versa...hopefully is doens't make the camera too long to be compatible with the Helix.)
Right under neath the camera plate. I made a space just for it

Heading to Cinegear with freshly assembled Helix (4am). See you all there.

I was at Cinegear today but did not have time (or somehow did not make the time) to take photos or video. With that confession, I will say that I was truly impressed with the quick look and hands-on I was able to have this afternoon. I had high expectations, but what I saw exceeded my expectations not only in the way the device feels in one hands but also in the excellent overall build and finish quality.

Certainly this is very good news.

To have a Ronin rep to be impressed with the Helix and admit that it can do much more than what a Ronin can do with almost half the weight is pretty good don't you think?

Hien , I just find you made your homework very well. The modular axis idea is flat out amazing, and really fulfilling cinematographic needs far of the octocopter world. It´s your approach and your way to communicate which just makes it a pleasure to join this GB. I´m looking forward to have the 4 axis Helix in my hands!
Cheers,
Marc
