It has been quiet here. Too quiet, IMHO. Perhaps there is an update coming? Sample and BTS footage being shot? Anything? Please. :bored:

Dear all,
It's been excited few days. We got new firmware from Alex that allows the Helix to +/-360 on roll. It also allows it to turn the frame sideway without being freaked out, this mean that we now can turn the Helix sideway and hold one handle to shoot low shots without needing the third handle. This is the first unit that only needs 2 handles and can switch between eye level and low shot, pretty cool. Since the change to make that happen for Helix is simple, Alex assured us to be in sync with all future firmware updates and Helix can use either firmware. Tested the joystick and it was pretty cool also. You can now do roll around the optical center to create very unique shots that no other system can. We are on schedule to deliver first units next week. It's June already. Man!
As for the package for RU's, it's will be much better than any percentage discount you can name, trust me. Aaron is sending out the NDA for you all. Private chat is done, as soon as we get the NDA stuff done. Please forgive my lack of presence here as you know I am working to perfect the release.
Thanks all again for your patience and support.

If I understand you correctly, then yes you can. You can use the joystick to set any angle and then you let go of the joystick, then it would lock the roll at that place and stabilize it.Can you lock in a specific angle on the the 360 degree roll for a stabilized dutch angle? Can you do a dutch angle roll with the remote or joystick on the fly? If so...that would blow my mind!
