  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Here's step by step instructions:

1) Salivate

2) Wait for others to mess with it and report bugs
a) continue salivating

3) Wait for it to be fixed
a) continue salivating with understanding that the end is near

4) Wait for official release of b16
a) prepare to ease off the salivation

5) Install with confidence

6) Enjoy

7) Repeat step 1 through 6 for each beta release going forward
 
According to the old CHIINESE tradition that
B16 releases in today " 618 " is a good sign.

I am in HKG but the time & day is 618 !!!

Tomorrow will rain, I follow the sun.

It's like the old proverb: "千里之行始於Build16 "
 
So when did Red Owners start "living life" on the cautious side? Isn't this all about living out on the edge, pushing the envelope, taking the risk? Why anyone that put down a $1,750 deposit over a year ago when the camera was a pipe dream wouldn't download and install build 16 at the soonest possible moment is beyond me.

Just my humble opinion. :)

I'm going to stay up for the release- I can't wait- it's worth the risk, even if the new build turns our red into a useless brick I have confidence that RED will fix it and all will be well.

It's more fun to be part of something new.

New RED Quicktime Codec going up now. Build 16 and new RED Alert! in about an hour.

just change it up in your dock so you dont get confused.
