Gorgeous.

This is a great thread!

Great shots, which lens did you use in the opening scene from 00:00 to 00:11?

I'd bet that was the 100mm APO macro...

Overall it's hard to recall what lenses we used when, but my set consisted of

19mm V2 Elmarit
24mm Elmarit
35mm Summicron
50mm Summilux v2 (E55)
100mm APO Elmarit
180mm Elmarit

I've since added a 35mm & 80mm Summilux, and a 135mm Elmarit

Very nice wides David. In my limited experience the 19mm v1 smears a good bit in the corners, but yours look solid. Is that full-frame? Corrected in post?

And what a cool assortment of shots Clint.

Great stuff Clint!

so nice too see such an assortment of frames with all kinds of light and different flaring. Such versatile glass.

mark,

for the 19mm that is right out of the camera and I always shoot 5k full frame. There no correction at all on that image, just straight out of RCX. I'll dig up some other examples in different light where you can try to hunt down corner distortion. I've been quite amazed by the lack of it with my v2 version of the lens and that is probably great news for when dragon shows up.

Great thread. Very Inspiring!

Hey Bob,

Thanks for contributing. I like this thread too because it shows a diverse use of great tools.

Just for Mark here are a couple of straight out of the box 19mm V2 samples with no corrections outside RCX.

Very nice. Is that 5k uncropped?

Is that 5k uncropped?

Yep, 5K WS compression 5.1 downscale to 1080, process in After effect and a 3D lut Kodachrome style.
A tiny tiny crop (1% or 0,5% can't remember) to reframe the right part of the composition.
Left part is the border of the frame.
Cheers

Here is another pic from the 28 showing some red C.A

Thanks for another great example. Both benefit from not being ultra-sharp, where the details would surely overwhelm the smooth transitions and subtleties in the receding architecture.

On the left edge of the second there's a bit of horizontal stretching, but had to look for it.

Started a new Bio-Doc project today... 35mm Summilux-R Van Diemen at close to wide open.

Lovely texture here Christopher.

You are right, it is really ugly on the left part.
It was a fix setup, 5K FF recording at 1FPS shutter(deg) 3.6, this is why I fucked up I guess. ;-)

Cheers
