why do you have to compare this two cameras ?

Well, obviously, if the 5D is in fact inferior... then an ultra-sensitive 12000+ iso sensor on Scarlet shouldn't be too much to ask... or at least something like 6400. Everyone claims RED offers the "total" package in all aspects. So now I want outstanding (or at least decent) iso above 5000 with RAW capture. After-all the "gimmik" HDSLRS can see in the dark. I don't expect anything less from RED now.

I don't recall asking a question... I just made the statement that since the 5D (and upcoming 1D) are amateur gimmick cameras, then I expect nothing less than a usable iso range of 100-64000 on all new Red cameras.

Guys, in all honesty, this resolution talk in regards to these VDSLR's is sounding a touch snobbish.

I didn't mean to dismiss the 1d4's overall video capabilities, but that the unprocessed files for ISO 6400 must be laughably noisy if they have to soften the resolution so much.
