Hello RED Fam... So Finally got my KOMOD... Not in my hands since I am not in Miami but it's there waiting for me

Will start buying accessories to have it ready. I should probably pick it up in a couple of weeks or so.

I will work on THEME concepts to shoot a video to share! I am gonna shoot it in Dominican Republic since I am here working on a couple of projects. Let's hope I come up with a cool concept to shoot heheheheh...

It's crazy how long it has taken some people to get the Komodo. I already have RED sending me emails that my 6 month warranty will be up next month and saying I should buy the extended warranty for my ST model. Hope you enjoy it.

The first thing that went through my head when I read this was “What?”. So I had to look it up. The cam has a one-year warranty and it’s just cheaper to buy the extended warranty within the first six months.

Gotcha, sorry for the miss quote on the warranty. I think I will be passing on it though. I don't shoot with it enough to buy the extra protection. Think I have only used it on 4 productions in the last 5 months. Now if they came with a meter for hours used for the warranty, like 5 years or 1000 hours, now were talking.

Rand instead of adding a new post for each film you find on the web can´t you just edit your last post and add new info in there. To me it kind of ruins the forum when every thread is filled with shot with hudreds of random video posts.

I agree, it's nice that you post videos that goes online, but maybe have a dedicated thread where you update it rather than in this thread. Some conversations just drown away in the noise.

+1. I'll be completely frank; Rand has single-handedly killed my interest in participating in this forum. I go elsewhere for camera/cinematography discussion these days.

Guys, frankly, this thread is way too long anyway and everyone with a specific topic of discussion in mind have started their own specific thread instead of piling up in this one. And you can still use the search engine to see if something is already being discussed.
There's no need to come down on Rand like that.

The purpose of me posting these videos was to show examples of what has been done with the Komodo. It seemed additional examples of work from those who currently owned the komodo dried up. I personally don't see how I have prevented you from continuing the discussion of the Komodo if you wished. However, if everyone else is in agreement, I would be willing to discontinue posting any new videos and keep what I find to myself.

Well Aaron, that was one good thing that seemed to have come out of all of this. To be Frank, I for one had grown tired of your long winded, self- important, pretentious posts. I guess we will be relegated back to those charts of yours.
