I'm wondering does anyone think there might be a Camera Kit version like the Raven, Dragon-X, and Gemini?
If so, what are you expecting to get with the Kit?

I personally would love to get the Canon RF ND/Polarizer Adapters, Sigma Lens like other kits (18-35mm f1.8 Art EF), the App for Monitoring on the Phone like Raven Fool Control, Reliable Cfast 2.0 (2x 256g or 1x 512g), and Batteries (maybe 4 of them + charger) all in a good hard case to be able to carry it safely...

I don't think it would reach over $8-9K for normal black komodos.

Komodo operates at a lower voltage than DSMC/DSMC2, so I kinda doubt that. Plus, from the dimensional drawings published here: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?180388-Komodo-Dimensional-Drawings you can see that the DC IN looks nothing like the DSMC socket.

The Komodo DC IN looks a lot like a Lemo 2-Pin 0B
Jarred, does that mean we could hook a Komodo to the Ranger AUX PWR socket?

Please note that if it looks like the socket can fit, doesn't mean you should!!!

Hi Alain,

I guess the boot time will be around 25-30 seconds, according to Jarred's insta video, showing Lana Wachowski's Komodo. (Although it's not the final Komodo version, I'd be very surprised if the boot time will be shorter in the end, since RED may have added more things in the meantime which need to be loaded/initialized)

No there is more than that... somewhere between 2-4 right now and a bit of an annoying stutter. IOS has a built in wireless latency that we are tricking the best we can so there are a few gremlins to get out. This just was turned on 2 weeks ago so it's pretty fresh, lots of improvement to be had. But it's pretty rad regardless.. even in it's current form.

Jarred is possible to make a similar app with preview for the DSMC2 cameras.

I'd love to be able to shoot with Komodo with it protected and with the ability to mount wireless Video and/or Wireless FF without screwing into the body.

I'd love to get my hands on some early GDU stuff, but since the crazy coloured ones are extremely limited, it will most probably be for my Stormtrooper. Though, around that time we'll probably see more and more of the early colours make an appearance here and there in the interwebs.

As long as we're throwing out concepts - my father had a huge affinity for WWII aircraft, a fondness witch of course got passed down to me. With that in mind, I'll share my dream Komodo custom paint job. Maybe even stencil a little red logo on the side for each film shot.
